Terms of Use for AMBCI

Welcome to the Advanced Medical Billing and Coding Institute (hereinafter referred to as "AMBCI"). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you (hereinafter referred to as "you," “user,” or “student”) and AMBCI regarding your participation in our courses and use of our services. By enrolling in our courses or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please discontinue your use of AMBCI services immediately.

1. Eligibility

By enrolling in AMBCI courses or using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

  • You provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date registration or enrollment information.

  • You meet any minimum prerequisites for the course you are enrolling in.

  • You are not restricted from using the services under the law of your jurisdiction.

AMBCI reserves the right to verify the eligibility of students and may deny access or enrollment if eligibility is not met.

2. Course Enrollment and Usage

Enrollment in an AMBCI course grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access the course material for personal educational purposes.

  • Access to course materials will vary based on the enrollment option selected.

  • Course content is regularly updated to reflect industry standards.

  • Sharing login credentials with unauthorized individuals or using another person’s credentials is strictly prohibited.

  • AMBCI reserves the right to monitor usage and may terminate accounts for fraudulent behavior or misuse.

3. Payment Terms

  • All course fees must be paid in advance unless explicitly agreed otherwise under a payment plan.

  • Payment transactions are processed securely through third-party gateways. AMBCI does not store sensitive payment details.

  • Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars and may vary without prior notice. However, price changes will not affect previously purchased or ongoing enrollments.

4. Refund Policy

Refunds are provided under the following terms:

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of purchase.

  • Eligibility for a refund requires access to less than 10% of the course content at the time of the request.

  • Refunds are not available for completed courses or for users found to be in violation of these Terms.

5. Certification Requirements

To obtain a certification from AMBCI, you must:

  • Successfully complete all required modules, assignments, and assessments.

  • Achieve the minimum passing score for all tests or evaluations.

  • Maintain adherence to these Terms throughout your participation.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All course content, materials, logos, designs, and proprietary tools are the exclusive property of AMBCI or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

  • Course materials are for personal, educational use only and cannot be reproduced, redistributed, or modified without prior written permission.

  • Commercial use or public display of AMBCI course content is strictly prohibited.

7. User Conduct

While using AMBCI services, students agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Avoid disrupting the functionality of the services.

  • Refrain from posting, sharing, or uploading any offensive, defamatory, illegal, or inappropriate content.

8. Limitation of Liability

AMBCI disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in programs or use of materials. AMBCI’s cumulative liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the user for the specific program or service in question.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AMBCI, its affiliates, instructors, and employees from any claims, actions, damages, or expenses resulting from your use of the services or violation of these Terms.

10. Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve disputes amicably. If informal resolution is not possible, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.

11. Governing Law
